Free and open to the public

Come see Dia de los Muertos altars in the Galería Guadalupe created by a variety of artists and organizations, including guest curator Ruben C. Cordova, artist Teresa Camaro, the San Antonio Eye Bank, and many others. The altar exhibition take place from 2:00-7:30 pm and is free and open to the public.

Come early for the exhbition and stay for:

Poetry Reading with Laurie Ann Guerrero
3:00 – 5:00 pm
$10 per person (in theater)

San Antonio Poet Laureate and Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center Literary Arts Director/ Writer- in – Residence Laurie Ann Guerrero will read from her 2015 book “A Crown For Gumecindo.”

Free and open to the public

Participate in art-making workshops, face-painting, a peace and remembrance procession, and visit community altars while enjoying pan de muerto y chocolate. Performances include the Guadalupe Dance Company and Academy, Grupo Animo, and Mariachi Guadalupe.
