Celebrate National Spaghetti Day at an Authentic Italian Restaurant This Year

San Antonio staple, Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano, located at 8539 Fredricksburg is excited to celebrate National Spaghetti Day with locals on January 4, 2017.

The restaurant invites you to join them in observance of this holiday that commemorates the great Italian dish’s introduction to American restaurants during the 19th century. Immigration bought this great and wonderful meal to the country, and it’s been a favorite ever since.

Aldo’s spaghetti is served with your choice of sauce: pomodoro (vegan) or meat sauce. If you are enjoying a traditional Italian pasta, such as this one, Aldo’s has the best wine to compliment your meal.

Their wine recommendation for this pasta is the Chianti Riserva of Renzo Masi, Tuscany. This medium bodied, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon blend, is a very food friendly wine. It’s perfectly paired with hearty pastas, such as Aldo’s spaghetti.

The restaurant will be open from 11am to 10pm, which allows plenty of time for anyone to come in and grab a plate of spaghetti, and a glass of wine to go with it.

Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano has been serving the San Antonio community authentic Italian cuisine for over 30 years. They are most well known for their romantic atmosphere, exquisite customer service, and award winning fare, that includes Aldo’s Famous Cheesecake.

The restaurant is open 7 days a week. To view their hours, you can visit Aldo’s online at
