Noah Harris (born August 1st, 1981) is an American country music and folk singersongwriter from the corn belt of east central Illinois. Harris was born in his father’s native farm town of Tolono, IL, spent his formative years in Champaign-Urbana, and the last decade living and writing in Chicago. In October of 2014, Harris transplanted to San Antonio, Texas, along with his fiancé, painter (and San Antonio native) Madison Turner!

Noah Harris’s music is heavily influenced by the Texas songwriting tradition of Wille Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, George Jones, Roy Orbison, and the like. Harris has a big, clean singing voice, reminiscent of the country stars of the early 70’s; the voices of Charlie Rich, George Jones, and Charley Pride are brought to mind!

Noah Harris will perform a mixture of original songs and Texas country classics with a string trio featuring Tom “Tomcat” Miller on upright bass, and Stephen James on electric guitar (both members of San Antonio’s own “Tomcat Trio”). The Esquire Tavern provides a beautiful, and historically rich atmosphere for this celebration of Texas music and the music it is inspiring; it’ll be a sweaty, 2-steppin, sing-along kind of a night!
