The Tobin Center, San Antonio’s world-class performance arts facility, and JoyRide Cycling Studio, San Antonio’s premier boutique studio dedicated to indoor cycling, will host the first-ever, outdoor fundraising event on the Tobin Center’s River Walk Plaza.

JoyRide will bring the popular studio’s 68 state-of-the-art bikes to the Plaza. Lead Instructor Kelly Middleton, a former competitive soccer player and attorney-turned-avid indoor cyclist, and master instructor Leah Lindsay will lead two calorie-torching, high-energy and endorphin-surged workouts.

DJ Chacho will spin popular tunes, setting the heart-thumping tempo for the ride’s challenging climbs and energetic sprints. The cost of the ride is free, but riders are encouraged to make a donation to Fitness on the Plaza. Fitness on the Plaza is a free fitness program that is open to all ages and encourages San Antonio citizens to come downtown and participate in fun outdoor group fitness activities at their city’s home for performing arts—the Tobin Center. Donors’ names will be entered to win a JoyRide Fitness Staycation prize, which includes a one-night stay at a local hotel, private ride for 35 friends at JoyRide, and a gift card to lululemon.
