Celebrating the June 2015 release of their new album “Far From Where You Are,” The Lost Project will kick off the 2015 TWOTEN EMPIRE series.

THE LOST PROJECT is a collection of various genre writing and past musical ideas that are now made into present day songs. There are no set boundaries except for the music to sound “clean”. Being that the writing is never the same, the name fits the “lost” direction that the band is going towards. Broadening their approach, The Lost Project strives of writing truthful, easy music. The band is dedicated to being the most dynamic, universal groups who can have at least one song in their set that each person can identify with and say, “I like that song”. Basically, THE LOST PROJECT is a multi-genre combination of catchy singing melodies mixed with simple rhythmic progressions.

Pop Pistol has been performing since 2005, turning 10 this October, and was named 2012 Best Indie Rock Band by readers of the San Antonio Current. The band has released two full length albums and two EP’s and has toured around the country independently. In 2014, Pop Pistol released a remix album of their 2012 release ‘Animal Prisms’ called ‘Animal Prisms: AFTERLIFE’ working entirely with San Antonio tied producers. Music can be found at Pop Pistol continues to perform sporadically and is currently working on new music while individual members devote time to other projects. This will be the band’s first performance in months, and fans can expect a long set of old favorites and live debuts.
