Puro Curbside at San Antonio HEB’s!

Puro Curbside at San Antonio HEB’s!

Checkale! HEB’s all new Curbside service!

I know you all are just as busy as I am, if not busier, so thankfully there are chingos of new apps and websites that are making our lives easier. I like to consider myself a social and tech savvy kind of puro pinche girl so you may understand my newfound love for HEB CURBSIDE! I am headed to Miami next week for Hispanicize 2017 and am scrambling to finish work projects and pack so luckily HEB Curbside is as easy as UNO, DOS, TRES!

How-curbside-works-2

1. Order Online
I am constantly running around to meetings, events, and getting my son to/fro school and the casa. I sat down at the computer with a list of items I needed for traveling to Miami next week and ingredients I needed for a quick dinner (the Spurs game was about to be on). It took me about five minutes to find everything I needed, add to cart, and checkout!

2. Schedule a Pickup Time
There are available pickup times almost every 30 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (just order 4 hours or more in advance). Since you can get almost everywhere in San Antonio in 30 minutes or less, the windows work well for getting lots of people in and out of the curbside parking spots.

3. Pickup Your Order
You may want to call your HEB Curbside location to find out where the designated pickup area is before arriving. Once I got to the HEB Plus on Marbach, parked in a spot, and text the parking space number to the designated phone number, a super friendly HEB employee named Carmen came out to greet me with my groceries and loaded them in my car for me. She even posed for my cheesy video (above). They were out of an item but Carmen had called me earlier in the day to substitute for a similar item and she made sure it was correct when she greeted me.

I will use HEB’s Curbside service as much as possible! It’s at 21 locations right now so hopefully y’all can try it soon and love it mucho like I did. Groceries were frrrrrresh and the shopper fee was only $4.95 (there’s occasionally a promotion going on to waive the fee).

p.s. Here’s what our pesto shrimp farfalle dinner looked like
(paired with Coach Pop’s A to Z wine).
p.p.s. I always pick HEB brand items if available!
